As a John L. Scott broker, my mission is transactional excellence and client satisfaction. That means I work tirelessly to make your home buying or selling process as efficient, stress-free and lucrative for you as possible.

Meet Almaz

Before joining John L. Scott’s Kent North office, Almaz Sebsebie Gizaw worked in customer service at the Columbia Tower, held positions with equity office properties and also gained finance experience working for Wells Fargo. Almaz holds a degree in international business and finance from the University of Washington Bothell and decided to put her business acumen and skills in customer service to work as a real estate broker.

While Almaz works with buyers and sellers of all types, she often helps clients in the Ethiopian community; she’s from Ethiopia and is fluent in Amharic. She deals with residential listings in cities including Seattle, Lynwood, Kent, Federal Way and Renton. When helping sellers, Almaz often employs social media, professional photography and a kick-off weekend strategy to promote their home to potential buyers.

It’s a love of people and houses that attracted Almaz to the real estate industry. She’s also passionate about educating others about the buying and selling process. Almaz wants her clients to truly understand the process and commitment behind what is likely to be the biggest financial decision in their lifetime.

When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and grown daughter, hiking and exercising. She is also involved with the local Ethiopian community and contributes to the P.E.O. Program for Continuing Education, a need-based scholarship program for women that is near and dear to Almaz’ heart ever since she received one herself.

Renton

Renton sits on the southeast shore of Lake Washington and at the junction of three major highways: I-5, I-405 and State Route 167. That means we have easy access to Seattle, Bellevue, SeaTac airport, and the rest of the Puget Sound area. Renton was incorporated in the early 1900s, but we really started to grow when Boeing started building planes here during World War II. In the decades since, many large corporations have set up homes here, including Paccar, which makes Kenworth and Peterbilt commercial vehicles. The downtown core has been revitalized and is now home to the Piazza. During the summer, the Piazza hosts a farmers market, but there are events here throughout the year. Renton has homes of all styles Luxury homes on the water or in the Highlands, condos and townhouses overlooking Lake Washington, and new homes in friendly neighborhoods. If you’d like to learn more about Renton, let us know. We’d love to show you around and help you find your perfect home.
